Readers will find this fascinating piece of research extremely helpful! ;o)

How can I filter out trolls in other newsreaders?

The short answer is, "I don't know." My experience is primarily with Forté Agent, and to a less extent, Microsoft Outlook Express. However, if others in MFW are willing to offer their expertise on the use of filters or "killfiles" in other newsreaders, I will gladly add that information to this FAQ.

Please note that if you read Usenet newsgroups on the web, using Google Groups, filtering just isn't possible. Sorry.
